Terms and Conditions: Rio Cleaning

  • Service Description: We agree to provide professional cleaning services as described in the service quote or booking confirmation.
  • Access: The client must provide access to the property at the scheduled time. If the team cannot enter the premises (e.g., no key, locked gate), a lock-out fee may apply.
  • Supplies and Equipment: Rio Cleaning will provide all necessary professional cleaning equipment and high-quality supplies unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Pricing: Estimates are based on the initial information provided by the client. We reserve the right to adjust the price if the condition of the property differs significantly from the description.
  • Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless prior invoicing arrangements have been made. Accepted forms of payment include: Credit Card, E-transfer, or Cash.
  • Late Fees: Payments not received within 7 days of the service date may incur a late fee of 50%.
  • Notice Period: We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than the required notice may be subject to a fee of 50% of the service cost.
  • Environment: To ensure maximum efficiency, clients are encouraged to pick up clutter (toys, clothing, loose papers) before the team arrives.
  • Safety: Please secure any pets and ensure the work area is safe for our staff.
  • Valuables: We request that highly fragile items, jewelry, and irreplaceable heirlooms be stored away during cleaning.
  • Reporting: If you are unsatisfied with any area we have cleaned, please contact us within 24 hours.
  • Remedy: We will return to re-clean the area of concern at no additional cost. We do not offer refunds, but we are committed to ensuring the job is done right.
  • Insurance: Rio Cleaning is fully insured and bonded.
  • Breakage/Damage: While we take extreme care, accidents can happen. We will report any damage to the client immediately. Rio Cleaning’s liability for damage is limited to the repair or replacement cost of the item.
  • Exclusions: We are not liable for damage caused by “wear and tear,” improper installation of fixtures, or items that were already unstable/broken.
  • Chemicals: If the client requests the use of specific non-standard chemicals, Rio Cleaning is not liable for any resulting damage to surfaces.
  • Clients agree not to solicit or hire any Rio Cleaning staff member for private cleaning services outside of this agreement for a period of 12 months following the termination of services.
